I want to use in my new (to build) hobby space for (local) fume extraction when soldering, using glue or other items. Perhaps i also will do some chemical experiments. This item is only for fume extraction, not for dust extraction as it has no dust collector! I did not test it yet, however according to the specs the airflow is 3800 LPM (Cubic Liters per Minute) = 3800*60 = 228000 liter/hour. I don't know yet the size of my new workspace, however e.g. a 3*2.5*5 meter workspace = 37.5 m3 = 37500 liter. This would result in 228000/37500 = ~6 air changes per hour of that complete workspace using one of these small relative cheap ventilators.
